line_item.final_price equivalent for products?

Hi Everyone!

I would like to display the discounted price of a product in my store and I am using automatic discounts from within Shopify’s built in discount feature, however the only way I can show the discounted price is in the cart/checkout page by using line_item.final_price.

I would like to use this value in my collection/product pages to display discounts so I can easily apply/end discounts and communicate these discounts with the customer.

I have looked around forums for answers and checked through the developer documentation but cannot find an answer.

I do not want to use compare at pricing to achieve this as it involves a lot of ongoing manual work to start/end discounts

Hey there, I see this thread is quite old, however, I just had a similar problem on our store and solved it with Rockit Sales & Discounts (has a free option at time of writing): https://apps.shopify.com/rockit-sales-discounts

There are a few other apps that do this, but I found this one easy to use and had the right feature set.
