Hello, can i ask someone who might be knowledgeable on the topic. I have an existing website with NO webstore component.
I’m planning to build my shopify store and link it to that site. Can the log in details be the same for that site and my new webstore? AND can i use other log in details aside from email? like a mobile number.

Yes, you can use the same login details for your existing website and your new Shopify store. When you create your Shopify store, you can set up a new account using the same email address and password that you use for your existing website.
However, Shopify only allows customers to log in using their email address and a password. So, you cannot use a mobile number as a login credential for your Shopify store.
To link your new Shopify store to your existing website, you can add links to your website that direct users to your Shopify store. You can create links to specific products, collections, or pages in your Shopify store and add those links to your website’s navigation menu or footer.
