Is it possible to have one shopify store with different products from that store link to different websites?
And/or is there a better way of achieving that by solely using shopify?

By websites do you mean marketing channels like Facebook ads, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.
If yes, I’d recommend a product feed manager that lists your products onto multiple marketplaces and channels around the world and locally.
