First priority problem:
Local wholesaler uses Shopify plus they sale retail. We want to work together and offer their products on our shopify website and have them dropship the orders. How do I configure this and do I need a integration app for this even though we both are on shopify? We would want to segment the payment of the purchase of their products so it pay them the wholesale cost amount plus the shipping then we get the other portion of the payment.
www.harvickfarms.com for reference and it is the products by Elder Farms
Ex: elderberry syrup cost $22 plus $3 shipping
Their wholesale price is $13 plus the lets say $3 shipping = $16 gets paid to their shopify account and shipping is setup that they received the email notification and the shipping label. They (the supplier) already has all their shipping cost calculated in shopify so I would just want to pull that information they already have to display on our website.
My store then gets the remaining $9.
I use Spocket to dropship other items and I go into the spocket app once the order is made and confirm the payment was received. Then functionality works in that manner where the customers payment is separate to pay the supplier and I get the remaining amount.
Second problem but lower priority:
In addition, I will have some of the products in our retail store so I will need to keep track on my own retail supply as well. I believe I can just create a separate product and have it on the retail POS sales channel only to solve that problem. If anyone has a better/more efficient solution I am all ears.
