Looking for some guidance here. I have some products that are delivery only and others are to be shipped. Upon checkout - how do I differentiate and separate out the items that can be shipped vs. delivered. Right now it is like you have to select one shipping option for the entire order. I need to break it out to what can be delivered vs. shipped.
Example - selling local vegetables that are delivery only and t-shirts that are to be shipped. A shopper can add both to their cart and start to checkout but there is no way to indicate local delivery for the vegetables and standard $5 shipping for the hat. Follow me there?
That’s a great question. At this time, it’s currently not possible within our checkout system to create a single order that has 2 separate shipping designations (local delivery and standard shipment). A customer can’t choose to have some items shipped and some items delivered on the same order. Instead, the customer should place two separate orders in order to accomplish this. I’d be happy to pass this feedback along to our development team for possible future implemenation.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
Hi Dirk,
What if I need to disable local delivery for orders that are out of my delivery zones and allow only the shipping option?
note: both are inside USA.
Hi! Your local delivery settings will allow you to dictate the delivery radius or specific postal codes that are eligible for local delivery. You can find more details here: Setting up local delivery for online orders.
