"Locations" dropdown on the "Orders" page

Am noticing that I can no longer filter by “Location” on the upper right menu of the general “orders” page.

I am locked into selecting only one location and am unable to change to “all locations” or any other specific location/warehouse (although those locations are still appearing in the list). Seems like a glitch? Have been able to successfully change the filter by going far back through browser history, but that is not very helpful! Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

Hey there, @z4pp3r ! Thanks for jumping into the Community with what you’ve noticed here.

Interesting that this appears to be missing for you - I jumped into my own store to check things out and I do see that I have the ‘locations’ button that’s fixed in the top right, and it’s showing me all of my locations. I have a screenshot I’d like you to see so you can confirm if this is the button that is missing for you.

I don’t see any reports of this from other merchants, so it could be a local issue! If possible, please get back in touch to confirm if this is the missing button. We can look into next steps from there.

Thank you for getting back, Imogen!

My mistake for not being clearer: the location menu IS appearing, and even populating with all of my locations. However, I find I am locked into one location and cannot switch out of it. For example: I seem to be getting locked into ONLY viewing our EU warehouse, and cannot switch to any others, or even the “All Locations” feature. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Thanks for the quick reply, @z4pp3r !

I did some digging through the support channels available to me and I don’t see any additional reports of this occurring. I also tested the switching function in my own store and that was working fine for me. Is it possible that you have two stores, and you’re currently looking at the order page for that 2nd store that has less locations? You can check this by looking at the top left of the admin screen and seeing the drop-down that includes your store name. This likely isn’t the case - but doesn’t hurt to double check.

Another suggestion - trying clearing your cache/cookies for your browser, and logging in from a different browser, and see if the issue persists. It could be localized to your browser. Give this a try and let me know.

I also recommend going to settings > locations just to make sure all your locations are still set up as needed.

Since I couldn’t find any additional reports on this (and I looked all over the place!) I think that this is likely localized to your device or browser. Give the steps I’ve outlined above a try, and then let me know if things change for you at all. We’ll look at some additional steps from there! :magnifying_glass_tilted_right:

Thank you for your thorough reply, Imogen.

I will adjust some settings in my browser, and hopefully, that will solve the issue! Seems everything else is functioning as normal. Take care!

Hey again, @z4pp3r !

I’m hoping that your location issue here is just something local to your device and that the browser swap/cookies clear fixes things up for you!

In the case where the above steps don’t lead to a resolution for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Live Team for some help. You can use this link here to get in touch. They’ll be able to get you authenticated and access your account, and scout out your admin for any potential issues. That’s something we can’t quite do here in the community.

How many locations do you have for your store? I’d love to hear more about your business! One of the best parts of chatting with folks in the Community here is learning about their businesses.

I am getting this same issue. It seems to be a bug for sure. I cannot select “All Locations” and also cannot change to others. I’ll try the cache resolution but it seems to definitely be a bug FYI.

Hey there, @crawf . Thanks for joining in on the thread here!

Sad to hear that you’re experiencing this issue as well. I know it’s been a few days since you made this post - are you still experience this issue?

I did some digging into our support queues since some time has passed, and it looks like there are other users reporting this issue while using Apple and other iOS devices. It looks like updating the iOS of these devices to their newest version solves this issue.

Give the cache clear method a try, and then try the iOS update and see if that resolves things for you. If nothing changes for you, follow up with me here and let me know!
