when I go to the login page, the username/email field doesnt detect the embeded fingerprint authentication. Is it a bug or a feature?

I appreciate the context and screenshot that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! At the moment, the Shopify login page will not detect the embedded fingerprint authentication on Safari as this feature is not yet supported. With that being said, I am going to provide this as a suggestion to our internal team to hopefully include this feature in the future. We always appreciate when merchants provide their feedback about the platform.
