Can someone please help me to remove the white outline on my logo box. I have uploaded my logo as .jpeg file and tried to recreate the black background in multiple different sizes but I always end up with the white outline.
My logo was created in adobe illustrator and I can export it into many file formats if there is a solution there?
My logo has a black background and Ideally this would mesh with the debut theme black background I choose.
I think it’s an image problem, not a shopify/web problem.
How about bringing your vectors from Illustrator into Photoshop. If the white box still appears in PS you can easily get rid of it there.
I’m happy to explain the steps if that helps. Or you could upload the vector file from Illustrator (save as an EPS) and I would be happy to do it for you.
PNG files can have a transparent background, i.e. no automatic white background/rectangle.
JPEGs cannot be transparent, but they can be compressed to smaller file sizes. Use JPEG whenever you can, and you can use something like tinyjpg.com to further compress the file for a faster-loading site.
Im still having problems. I switched my jpeg to a png on photoshop. And for some reason i just cant get rid of the background on shopify. My header is a png file but its like a grey background everytime. Does anyone know the code to get rid of this box. I am STRESSING!!
