I am looking for 3-5 Shopify agencies interested in joining the CommerceGov Founder Pilot.
CommerceGov is a governance layer for product content changes. It provides a controlled workflow between proposed content and production.
Review → Policy checks → Human approval → Controlled writeback → Audit and revert
The problem I’m trying to solve appears when several people, bulk tools, CSV imports, PIMs, or AI apps can change product content. Generating or importing changes is becoming easier, but teams still need to know what changed, who approved it, and what was ultimately allowed to reach production.
CommerceGov is already published on the Shopify App Store. The current version governs four product fields:
- Product title
- Description
- SEO title
- SEO description
The 90-day pilot would begin with one controlled store and expand gradually as workflow stability is proven. We would work directly with each participating agency on multi-user operations, multi-store visibility, policy enforcement, audit evidence, and broader Shopify field coverage.
The pilot is intended for agencies that:
- manage product-content changes for multiple Shopify stores,
- use bulk, AI, SEO, PIM, or external content tools,
- need review and approval before production changes,
- or want clearer audit and rollback controls.
Founder Pilot price: $3,000 for 90 days.
This is a structured working pilot, not a finished enterprise package. Participants would receive direct founder support and have a practical influence on implementation priorities.
