I am Stephen, the founder of Chargeam, a Shopify app for preparing source-cited evidence packets for Stripe disputes linked to Shopify orders.
I am looking for three merchants with an open Stripe chargeback who are willing to try a founder-assisted Evidence Clinic. Chargeam organizes the Shopify, Stripe, fulfilment, and merchant-provided records available for the case, including carrier evidence when it is already available, then shows the evidence and gaps in one packet for the merchant to review before deciding what to submit.
This is not legal advice and it does not promise a dispute outcome. The goal is to find out whether a transparent, reviewable evidence workflow is genuinely useful when the deadline is live.
If your dispute is processed through Stripe, you can install Chargeam from the Shopify App Store and start with the free evidence scan:
Update: I’ve turned this into a free, no-signup evidence readiness check for merchants with an open Stripe chargeback.
It flags deadline and timeline problems, then gives you a prioritized evidence plan. No email or Shopify install is required to see the result. It works from the dates and evidence categories you report, so it does not inspect or verify your underlying records.
It’s great to see that you’ve expanded this into a free, no-signup readiness check and clearly explained its limitations. Setting the right expectations helps build trust.
One suggestion that may encourage more merchants to try it would be to include an anonymized sample report or a few screenshots showing the type of output users receive. That would give merchants a clearer idea of the insights they’ll get, such as identified evidence gaps, timeline issues, or recommended next steps, before they invest their time.
I think seeing a real example would make it much easier for merchants to understand the value of the tool and decide whether it’s relevant to their situation.

Thanks, Steve — this is exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for. I’ve attached a redacted example of the readiness diagnosis so merchants can see the output before spending time on it. It shows the deadline and evidence-gap checks, while making clear that the underlying Shopify and Stripe records have not been verified. I’ll keep improving the preview based on what merchants find useful.
Thanks for taking the suggestion on board so quickly.
I think the screenshot is a great addition because it gives merchants a much better idea of what they’ll see before trying the readiness check. It also reinforces that the tool is highlighting evidence gaps based on the user’s self report rather than claiming to verify the underlying records.
One small enhancement you might consider is adding a few brief annotations or bullet points alongside the example explaining what merchants should take away from it for example, what the missing record count means, why the deadline is highlighted, and what the recommended next step would be. That would help first time users understand the output even more quickly.
I think these additions will make it easier for merchants to appreciate the value of the readiness check before they start using it.
