Looking for 3 Shopify stores with traffic but unclear checkout drop-off

Hi, I’m Icey. I’ve worked on Shopify CRO for nine years, and I’m the co-founder of UX Agent.

I’m opening three no-cost diagnostic slots for live Shopify stores that are getting product views, add-to-carts or reached checkouts but still cannot see what is stopping purchases.

This is not a generic store roast. For each selected store I’ll help separate:

  • what is directly observable in the journey;
  • what is only a hypothesis;
  • which issue I would fix or test first;
  • what I would leave unchanged until there is stronger evidence.

Best fit: a store with recent real traffic and one specific question such as “why do mobile visitors view products but not add to cart?” or “what happens after shoppers enter checkout?”

How it works:

  1. Install UX Agent – Checkout Replay from the official Shopify App Store. It is currently free to install and does not require Shopify Plus.
  2. Enable the App Embed and Checkout data so real storefront-to-checkout journeys can be collected.
  3. Reply with your public store URL and one question you want answered. Do not post an admin password, customer information or a private session link.
  4. If selected, explicitly confirm that I may review the relevant UX Agent data. Session-level evidence stays private; I will only share a public summary with your permission.

Disclosure: I’m a co-founder of UX Agent. I’m offering the diagnosis at no cost and want candid feedback on whether the evidence and prioritization are useful. No sales call or unsolicited DM is required.

totally agree it :clap: so we need to do some a/b testing to prove whether the hypothesis is correct.

Solid framing on separating observable facts from hypotheses — that’s the part most “store roasts” skip. For merchants reading this who want to start diagnosing checkout drop-off before installing anything: pull GA4 or Shopify’s own funnel first (sessions → product views → ATC → reached checkout → purchase) and find the single biggest percentage drop — that tells you whether the problem is pre-cart or in-checkout. If it’s in-checkout, the usual culprits are unexpected shipping cost shown late, forced account creation, limited payment methods, and slow mobile load. Segment by device too, since mobile and desktop often fail at different steps. One caution for anyone replying: only share your public store URL here, never admin access, customer data, or private session links.

Thanks :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:— this is a really useful addition. I especially like the “find the single biggest percentage drop” rule; it keeps the investigation focused before changing the theme or installing another app. I’d then validate that drop with a few real sessions, especially on mobile. And +1 on keeping customer and session data private.
