I’m one of the founders building a small retention tool for Shopify stores, and we’re looking for 5 stores to participate in a beta test. The idea behind the product is simple: most stores spend heavily acquiring new customers while many past buyers never return. CAC keeps rising and margins shrink, but a lot of potential revenue sits with customers who already bought once and never came back.
So we built a system focused specifically on that problem. It connects to a Shopify store and follows up with past buyers individually — checking in after their purchase, starting conversations, and nudging them back when it makes sense. Instead of sending generic email flows, the system tries to create one-to-one conversations with customers who already know your brand.
Right now the system connects to Shopify, analyzes purchase history and timing, identifies customers who are likely to buy again, sends personalized follow-ups through email or SMS, and adjusts messaging based on responses.
In early testing we noticed something interesting: when stores increased repeat purchases, overall profit margins improved significantly because they relied less on paid acquisition.
We’re now running another round of testing after adding features like SMS outreach and improved AI conversation logic. For this beta we’re looking for 5 Shopify stores willing to test the system and share honest feedback. In return you’ll get access to the beta and the insights from the experiment.
