Looking for a distributor to sell our South African Kombucha in UK

Hi

We are are Rooibos Kombucha manufacturing concern based in JHB , South Africa and we would like to penetrate the UK markets but trying to find a distributor or Importer who is willing to take on our products and sell in UK has become a tedious task without any results. Our Kombucha is made from Rooibos grown only is South Africas Western Cape Region , which makes our Kombucha much smoother and sweeter than the usual Kombuchas out there.

Does anyone know of anyone who maybe interested in connecting with us for our products.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated .

Have you considered shipping them directly from South Africa to UK consumers? If so I could help with the shipping and customs clearance side.

Thanks for the message, im not sure that is the most efficient method as it is a low cost heavy product, shipping individual products even in cases of 24 would be very expensive, hence we are looking for a distributor who would order in bulk and break it down that side and send to customers.

My apologies, I checked the operating model of our customer and I had misunderstood it. They are warehousing their products in UK and everything is shipped from there. You are absolutely correct, shipping literally from one end of the world to another cannot be cost-efficient.

For that operating model you will need to ship your goods to UK, a 3PL service (who can preferably also deliver EU) and UK VAT registration and the basic accounting to go with that. With this solution you would deliver domestic in UK and IOSS to EU.
