Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a third-party Shopify app that can send WhatsApp order confirmation messages automatically when an order is placed.
Specifically, I need the app to support dynamic variables such as:
The goal is to send a more visual and informative order confirmation message on WhatsApp, ideally including the product image along with the order details.
Does anyone know of a Shopify app that supports this kind of WhatsApp automation using these variables (especially product images)?
Any recommendations or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hello @chhadi0900,
Here are some Shopify apps and options you can use to automatically send WhatsApp order confirmation messages.
- Wati WhatsApp Automation for Shopify
( Not directly from the Shopify App Store but widely used via the Wati Shopify app integration)
- Whatssy Orders Notifications
- WhatFlow-Chat Automation
- Confirm Bot (Order Confirmation + Fraud Reduction)
- Official WhatsApp Business API via BSP + Custom Automation
From what I’ve seen, most WhatsApp apps can send order confirmations, but support for including product image URLs specifically can vary a lot.
Some apps will only pull basic order details by default, while others allow more customization using message templates or variables. It’s usually not automatic and depends on whether the app exposes product image fields in their WhatsApp templates.
I’d recommend checking the app’s template customization options or confirming with their support whether product image URLs are supported in order confirmation messages before committing.
Please tell me how to setup with “Wati” app I’m confusing it’s showing too much options
Hello @chhadi0900 ,
I hope you are doing well!
You can achieve this with AiTrillion’s WhatsApp automation, especially if your goal is to send richer, more visual order confirmations.
Here’s how it fits your requirement:
1. Automated WhatsApp order notifications
AiTrillion lets you trigger WhatsApp messages automatically when an order is placed, so customers get instant confirmation without manual effort.
2. Dynamic variables (including product-level data)
You can include order details using dynamic parameters such as:
- Product name, quantity, price
- Order summary and customer info
- Product links (URL)
For your specific use case:
- {product_url} → can be added as a clickable link in the message
- Product image support → this is typically handled via WhatsApp template formats (media templates). AiTrillion supports sending messages with media (like images), provided the template is approved by Meta.
3. Centralized marketing + messaging
If you’re already using email, loyalty, or customer data tools, AiTrillion keeps everything in one place, so your WhatsApp communication can align with the rest of your customer journey.
A lot of apps can send order text. Product image support usually depends on Meta template type and whether the app exposes image variables.
Practical check before you install:
- Ask support if media templates are supported for order confirm.
- Confirm product URL can be a variable, not only static text.
- Make sure the trigger is order create, not only a manual send.
If you tell me your market and whether you need COD confirm as well, I can say what I would prioritise in a setup.
