Hi everyone, can someone recommend a good A/B test app? To test things like: different navigation menus, differently colored buttons, different theme sections/order of them, and importantly to test shopify settings somehow. In particular, I want to test conversion rate with enabled “address confirmation step” in checkout (which is a requirement in some countries). So it’s a global setting within shopify settings - can stuff like that be A/B tested?
Topic summary
Seeking recommendations for a Shopify-compatible A/B testing app that can test both storefront UI changes and checkout behavior. A/B testing refers to running two variants (A and B) to compare performance, typically conversion rate.
Requested test areas:
- Navigation menu variations
- Button color changes
- Reordering theme sections
- Checkout setting: enabling the “address confirmation step” (a compliance requirement in some countries)
Key question: Can global Shopify settings—specifically the address confirmation step in checkout—be A/B tested to measure conversion rate impact?
No specific apps or solutions have been suggested yet. No decisions or actions taken. Discussion remains open with the primary unresolved issue being whether and how global Shopify checkout settings can be split-tested alongside visual/theme changes.
