Looking for feedback on my Shopify store's design, trust, and conversion potential before scaling ads

Store URL

Store description

I run an eCommerce store selling the Planetarium Projector Pro, a galaxy projector that transforms any room into a stunning star-filled experience. Our target audience includes gamers, students, parents, gift shoppers, and anyone looking to create a relaxing atmosphere at home.

The main value proposition is helping customers transform their room into a beautiful galaxy in seconds. Visitors should immediately understand what the product does, its key benefits, and why it’s different from other projectors on the market.

What feedback do you want?

I’d appreciate honest feedback on:

Homepage clarity and first impression
Product page design and trustworthiness
Mobile user experience
Product images and video quality
Pricing and offer presentation
Navigation and overall store layout
Conversion optimization opportunities
Anything that may prevent visitors from purchasing

My goal is to improve conversion rates before increasing advertising spend. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hey @Suleman_Mohammed !

The store is clean and the product page is well structured. But before scaling ads, some things that could hurt conversions:

Your own product page contradicts itself. At the top it shows $79.99 (crossed out from $99.99) but further down it says “Shop Now — $39.99, Free Shipping.” Same page, two different prices. A customer who notices that loses trust immediately. Same with the reviews: one section says 5 stars with 10,000+ and another says 4.8 stars with 10,000+. Pick one and be consistent.

The 10,000+ reviews look fake. And the reviews themselves read like AI-generated marketing copy. 50 real reviews will always convert better than 10,000 that feel manufactured.

The Catalog link should go directly to the product. You only sell one product, so /collections/all as a separate page just adds an unnecessary click. Point it straight to the product page.

Your Contact page is broken on desktop. The form only takes up a small portion of the left side. Looks like it was only designed for mobile.

Fix the trust issues first before putting ad spend behind it. Those are conversion killers.

Good luck!

Hi, This is Vineet from Identixweb, a Shopify Development Agency.

When I added the same products multiple times, the same product kept on duplicating. Please fix that. The numbers should increase, not the cart item.

Second is text readability & contrast: In the hero section, the cyan sub-text (“The Planetarium Projector Pro fills your entire room…”) is layered directly over a textured, starry sky background. This lowers the contrast and makes it slightly difficult to read.

The “Get Yours Today” Form: Halfway down the page, there is a contact form requesting Name, Email, Phone Number, and a Message. For an e-commerce store selling a consumer gadget, this creates unnecessary friction. Users expect an “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now” button, not a lead-generation form.

Empty Cart Friction: The cart drawer mentions “You’re $50.00 away from free shipping!” but the hero section explicitly advertises “Free Shipping” and the FAQ states “we offer free shipping on all orders, always.”

These are the things that I just saw in your store. Please fix these.

I would fix the trust and consistency issues before spending more on ads.

The product is easy to understand, but a few parts may make buyers hesitate.

  • Free shipping is shown on the page, but the cart says the buyer is 50 away from free shipping. That creates doubt at checkout.
  • The review claims should be consistent and believable. If you mention 10000 customers, support it with real reviews, photos, or a smaller credible claim.
  • For a one product store, the path should be direct. Benefit, proof, price, Add to Cart.
  • The Get Yours Today form feels like a lead form, not a purchase path. Replace it with a clear product block or buy button.
  • Make the offer simple above the fold. What it does, who it is for, what is included, shipping, returns, and why it is different from cheaper alternatives.

The core angle is good. I would make the store feel safer and more consistent before increasing ad spend.

Hey,

1.No clear primary path

The page splits attention between multiple CTAs and intents: the hero has “Shop Now” and “Free Shipping,” the mid-page section repeats “Shop Now,” and the bottom pushes a “Get Yours Today” form. That weakens conversion because shoppers are not given one obvious next step for buying.

Fix — Make “Shop Now” the single primary CTA across the page and demote the contact form to a secondary support option.

2.Hero copy is generic

The headline “Fall Asleep Under the Stars Every Night” is emotionally clear, but the supporting copy is small and vague about what the projector actually does and why this model is better. That slows first-time visitors who need quick clarity before clicking to shop.

Fix — Rewrite the hero subhead to state the product, key features, and use case in one plain sentence next to the main CTA.

3.Bottom form adds friction

The “Get Yours Today” form asks for full name, email, place of interest, and a message, which is a high-effort ask for a shopper on a product site. This pulls users away from purchase intent and can reduce sales by introducing unnecessary work.

Fix — If the goal is sales, replace the form with a product purchase block or simplify it to a single support email capture with a clear reason to use it.

Hope this helps

Hi, @Suleman_Mohammed

I took a look through the store and the product itself is actually a great fit for ecommerce because it’s very visual and easy for customers to imagine in their own space. A few things stood out to me that may be affecting conversions.

First impression

For a product like this, the visual effect is what sells it. One thing I noticed is that I had to scroll a bit before I could really see the galaxy effect. For a product like this, I’d probably put that front and center because that’s really what people are buying. A strong hero image or short video near the top can quickly show the transformation without requiring much reading. The visuals are the main selling point, so I’d make sure the images and videos clearly show the galaxy effect in a real room setting.
Give shoppers a bit more reassurance

If I was seeing this product for the first time, I’d probably want a bit more reassurance before ordering. Having shipping info, returns, and customer reviews visible earlier on the page could answer some of the questions shoppers might have before they reach checkout.

Make the offer easier to understand

If you’re running a promotion, make sure the savings are easy to understand. Showing the original price alongside the discounted price and clearly highlighting what customers receive can make the offer feel more compelling.

Speed and mobile performance

I also checked the PageSpeed report, mobile speed looks like an area that could use some attention.Since a large portion of traffic for products like this comes from mobile devices, slower loading times can lead to visitors leaving before fully engaging with the product. Optimizing images, videos, and unnecessary scripts can help create a smoother experience.

I think the product itself is strong. A few tweaks to the presentation and mobile experience could help more visitors turn into customers.

If you’re looking to improve performance, you could also consider Website Speedy to help optimize images and scripts. It’s optional to use .
