I am looking for a US dropshipper with popular brand clothing labels. I feel like I’ve been looking forever and have only found “aliexpress” type products and I am not interested in that at all.

You will want to look into wholesale dropship suppliers that are also authorized to resell name brands if that is an avenue you want to go. I did a quick google search and found the following companies based in North America that I think will suit your needs:
