Make banner image full width in Minion Theme

Hi All,

I am trying to make some changes to the Minion Theme and I need to make the banner image full width as the example below:

However on my edit page, I am unable to adjust the layout so that the banner is full width

Seems like there needs to be some CSS coding involved. Can anyone advise on this?
