It’s great that you’re looking to improve some areas of your site! Images are some of the most important parts of any store online. It definitely impacts your conversions. Before you make any changes I do recommend checking our tips for image resolution in our Help Center. It’ll be a good place to start.
As you can see in the screenshot below, your images all have inconsistent heights and sizes. This is the reason that they don’t line up. We have a really great guide to help understand this.
The easiest way to fix this is to edit your photos to have the same aspect ratio. To help you crop and edit the photos to be the same aspect ratios you can use any of the following guides:
Finally, you can use an app that you can install on your site. This will auto-change things for you based on your settings. Animage resize app will be a great tool for your site if you find that most of your images will continue to have varying aspect ratios.
Let me know how you do with the information above!
I can suggest checking this thread reply if you’d like to try to edit theme code, as it has been marked as a solution. Keep in mind before you customize a theme, it’s a good idea to make abackup copyso that you can discard your changes and start again if you need to.
If you don’t feel comfortable editing the template code yourself, you can always reach out to our Support team. Our team may be able to customise this for you if you use Shopify free theme and your store has enough complimentary design time left.
You can reach out to our Contact Us page on this link. Then log in to your store. It will allow us to verify you as the store owner securely. Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to reach out to a Support Advisor and discuss the customisation request as there are specific customisations supported.
Otherwise, if you are using a paid third-party theme, feel free to contact the theme developer to see if they can complete this customisation for you. Also, you can post a job on the Shopify Experts Page and see what feedback and quotes you get.
Some themes may have files organized and names slightly different. In Dawn theme, the Global CSS file name is base.css. You should be able to find it assets/base.css file.
However, keep in mind that we are not trained in coding and I would highly recommend gettingin touch with our Support teamas you are using Dawn theme which is Shopify free theme. If you have design time and this is a supported customization, we could be able to edit it for you.
