Make slideshow button on mobile smaller for Sense theme using the base.css file

I am having issues finding an answer that works to make a button on a slideshow smaller for mobile than it is on desktop. I need code that works to solve this issue in the base.css file since I do not have the theme.css file - which I keep seeing everyone use when I look up this question.
