Hello! I switched over to the one page checkout from Shopify. I added a Banner image (I used their suggested sizing of 1000px x 400px) to match my branding. Unfortunately it is not showing all of the image on the mobile OR the desktop page. Is it possible to make this image responsive so it can be fully seen from any screen without being cut off? I also have my store name in text being placed OVER the image but can’t seem to get rid of that. Any help is appreciated!!
Topic summary
Main issue: After switching to Shopify’s one‑page checkout, a banner image added at the suggested size (1000×400) is being cropped on both mobile and desktop. The desired outcome is a fully responsive banner that displays the entire image across all screen sizes without being cut off.
Additional concern: The store name text is automatically overlaid on top of the banner image, and the request is to remove or hide this text overlay.
Scope: Multiple store owners report the same problem, indicating it’s not an isolated case.
Status: No solution, workaround, or official guidance has been shared in the thread yet. No code snippets or screenshots were provided.
Open questions:
- How to make the checkout banner fully responsive within Shopify’s one‑page checkout.
- How to disable or remove the store name text overlay from the banner.
Outcome: Discussion remains open and unresolved.
I am also having the same issue, is anyone else to help with this?
