I currently have two online stores hosted on two separate platforms other than Shopify. This means I manage each store and do order fulfillment separately as well. I am considering migrating both stores to Shopify and wondering if there is a way to manage multiple stores and centralize order fulfillment using one user account. Any suggestions for a solution would be highly appreciated.
I don’t think there’s a way to add one store’s backend to another store. If you wanted to have a central login with orders from multiple stores, you could do this but I think you’d need to create a custom app (unless one exists already).
You could have a single account that can log in to each store, but with each store they have their own orders, customers, etc.
If there’s a specific task you want to be able to handle in 1 area, I would post those tasks here, maybe someone has used an app to achieve something like that. My best guess is that you’d have to create a custom app because of it being a niche use case.
