Hi, I have two physical locations, each of which offers POS shopping, order online for in store pick up, and local delivery, as well as FedEx shipping. We tried to manage all this via one Shopify account/site, but found it was too complex, and are thinking of switching to two linked sites, accessed via one main landing page. From this landing page customers would be directed to shop based on how they would like to receive their products: Option 1) via FedEx delivery, Option 2) pick up in-store or local delivery from Location A, and finally Option 3) pick up in-store or local delivery from Location B.
I see issues with customers wandering away from one of the sites, onto the other, and then accidentally placing an order from a location they didn’t intend, or getting lost in the site in other various ways, plus probably MANY other frustrations which I haven’t thought of yet.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any tips, apps, suggestions greatly appreciated. Our current site is vinovore.com
