From 2026, e-invoicing will be mandatory in Belgium. (Europe)
So I will have to send invoices via e-invoicing to my customers.
I am currently with Wix. I have been less satisfied for a while and I am considering switching to Shopify.
Does anyone have information about e-invoicing and whether it will possibly be integrated with Shopify?
Or does anyone have another solution for that?

flows main limit is that it cannot generate pdfs, dynamically send to arbitrary email addresses.
If Sufio doesn’t work and you need something more custom mechanic an automation app has premade tasks or can be scripted for bespoke needs to send invoices.

Reviving this for anyone landing here in 2026 — the rules just went live. Belgium’s structured B2B e-invoicing (Peppol) became mandatory on 1 Jan 2026, so this is now, not future. On Shopify the practical options are still Sufio (best format coverage) or exporting orders into a separate invoicing tool — there’s no fully native, end-to-end Shopify e-invoicing app yet, and the gaps are real (VAT/company-number capture at checkout, credit notes/corrections, per-country formats).
I’m a developer researching exactly this space. If anyone here is dealing with an EU e-invoicing mandate on Shopify (Belgium Peppol, Poland KSeF, Germany from 2027): how are you handling it today, and roughly how much time or money does it cost you per month? Trying to map where the tooling still falls short.
