Currently I am planning to create an app for one of my customers that offers market specific discount coupons or country specific discount coupons.
But I am facing a lot of blockers and even confused with the approach. I am not finding any right article for reference.
If you have any ideas regarding the implementation, API details or Discount validation, Please feel free to post your thoughts.
I also tried using shopify extensions / shopify functions.

Honestly, the simplest way to get this done is with an app from the Shopify App Store. Just search for something like “country discounts” or “market-specific discounts.” These apps are built to let you add extra rules to your promotions, so you can easily say, “this discount only works for customers in France.” It’s a no-code, straightforward fix that works for any Shopify plan.
