We’re wanting to move over from WooCommerce, but we have a unique set up and need to know if there are sufficient apps on Shopify to handle this. I already know Shopify can have a shop available to all customers AND a membership program. But what about this…?

  1. Members get renewed points each month to spend on anything in the shop they want (the points = 1 product for “free” that they paid for with membership).

  2. The downloads have members-only bonus downloads that only members who spend points on the products will receive. Even better if a non-member becomes a member, they will automatically get the bonuses for previous purchases.

  3. Downloads database where all purchases and bonuses are stored.

Here’s how it works:

I’m a prospective MGC Member. I hear about the membership opening in December and decide it’s a perfect fit for me. I sign up to become a MGC Pro monthly member. I automatically get points that will buy me two products. (which is my pick over MGC Basic with points to buy one product) I browse the shop and pick 1 printable game and 1 Boom card bundle. I redeem my points and get the games. I immediately have the printable game plus bonus and Boom card bundle available for me to download. On the 1st of the following month, I automatically get charged for another month and get 2 points added to my account. I go to the shop and pick my new games. And it keeps going until I cancel.

Is there any rewards app that can do that? I’ve looked into half a dozen and they only seem to be incentive rewards.
