Hello Shopify Community.
I have complicated and very specific requirements for a club membership offering on Shopify.
The store is for an exclusive wine club, that has 3 shipments a year, sent out on specific predefined dates.
Customers need to be able to sign up for the wine club, and then select to either pay for the yearly allocation upfront, or pay a deposit and then pay when the shipments become available (3 payments in the year).
Requirements:
When a customer joins the membership club they have the option to:
-
Pay for the yearly allocation upfront in full, or
-
Pay an upfront deposit, then settle the rest on the specific dates when the products become available,
-
The shipping dates are specific, and not just 30 days after initial payment. (ie: 1st Feb, 1st June, 1 Oct)
If anyone one has any insight I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi @BlankDesign
your gonna have a lot moving parts to work through unless your keywords turn up a specific app on the app store search.
At the crudest this is 3 products stitched together, or variants, deferred payments, or a bespoke subscription service, or all of the above.
#1 a regular product
#2 either a variant with deposit price, or a separate product as an unpaid order or a draft-order invoice either where the full amount is not expected to be charge to the initial method within a short amount of time (i.e. payment capture window ) or deferred https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/fulfillment/managing-orders/create-orders/index#accept-payment .
aka deferred payments aka split payments akai partial payments https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/fulfillment/managing-orders/payments/deferred-payments , or B2B deposits advanced see Plus plans B2b features
