Hello there @katyw the images on the store look quite good and I appreciate the fact that a short video was added in the gallery as well, it’s very appealing.
I think having a blog page for writing articles about the shirts under intriguing topics would help make the store look even better and would help drive traffic
Adding a section for testimonials from customers who’ve patronized your store previously would also be largely helpful.
I wish you and your store the best of luck!
Hi @katyw ,
We appreciate your inquiry in the Shopify Community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.
Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. Especially, there is a nice small window for discounts & CTA click on the banner on our first approach to Homepage. Also, the product pages are really detailed with descriptions and presentable UI/UX design.
However, I have some comments to boost user experience & conversion rates for your menswear site. Here are some of my recommendations, please kindly check.
1. Display Discounted Prices Prominently on the Homepage:
Ensure that sale prices are immediately visible to visitors. Highlighting discounts upfront can attract attention and encourage purchases.
2. Clearly Communicate Value Propositions:
Clearly state what sets Steven Land apart—be it quality, unique designs, or exceptional customer service. This helps visitors quickly understand the brand’s unique selling points.
3. Incorporate Testimonials on the Homepage:
Featuring customer reviews and testimonials can build trust and credibility, influencing potential buyers’ decisions.
4. Showcase Products with Models:
As u user, I do believe that menswear, particularly vests & shirts, deliver not only the design but the elegance & exquisiteness. Displaying apparel on models provides customers with a better understanding of elegant fit on men model.
5. Implement Clear Calls to Action (CTAs) at the bottom of Homepage
Use compelling and strategically placed CTAs to guide users toward desired actions, such as making a purchase or signing up for newsletters. Regularly test different CTA designs and placements to determine what works best.
6. Add ‘FAQ’ and ‘About Us’ Pages to the Navigation Bar as well as Contact us
With my knowledge in UI/UX, these pages are also important to provide the close & friendly connection with your customers in addition to purchasing pages. Therefore, I suggest including these sections in the main navigation which also makes it easier for users to find important information, reducing potential purchase barriers.
Also, you could consider refining the FAQ to make it more attractive and adding a “Contact Us” page. These are essential for helping customers quickly find answers or reach out for support, which can significantly enhance their shopping experience.
For an easy solution, I recommend trying MooseDesk App. It provides free, professionally designed FAQ and Contact Us templates with a simple one-click setup that perfect for elevating your store effortlessly!
So those are some of my suggestions for your store as an UX expert. If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving me a ‘LIKE’. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.
Once again, keep up the fantastic work, and I wish you the best of luck in the future!
Hi,
One thing I noticed right away is the GIF, sometimes GIFs take a long time to load on people’s phones. You have to design websites for phones now. If the website takes too long to load people won’t wait.
The solution would be to replace the GIF with an image of a product, and then install an app like Shoppable Image Hotspots to add a link to the product in the image. The image will improve your load time and will lead to more people spending time on the site.
Hi @katyw
I had a look at your menswear site, StevenLand.com, and here’s what I think—just keeping it constructive and straightforward!
Overall, I think the foundation of the site is solid, but there’s definitely room to refine the experience, especially for mobile users and branding consistency.
If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to respond.
Best regards,
Daisy
