This issue happens because of the way Safari handles scroll behavior with the off-canvas (drawer) menu in Shopify’s Dawn theme. By default, Safari doesn’t always lock the background page when the menu is open, which allows the extra scrolling you’re seeing.
Fixing this requires a small coding adjustment specifically adding a bit of CSS and JavaScript so that when the menu is open, the background page becomes locked and can’t be scrolled underneath.
