I am starting a new shopify store and while filling out my sellers permit application I was asked if my business will be accepting credit card payments.
I read that the processor name is shopify payments and the processor account is my shopify id. Can you tell me where would I find my shopify id?

When applying for your seller’s permit and asked about accepting credit card payments, you can list Shopify Payments as your processor. Shopify doesn’t provide a specific “Shopify ID” like traditional merchant accounts, but you can use your store’s .myshopify.com URL or your Shopify account email as your account identifier. If the application specifically asks for a merchant or processor ID, you can leave it blank or contact Shopify Support to request documentation. You can also find related payment details in your Shopify admin under Settings > Payments.
