Merchant Center - products disapproved - how to fix?

Hi, according to Google all my products are disapproved as my domain does not show any products. Currently on my home page it’s just the menu’s, about us and policy links etc, with customers needing to click on a category to access the products. Should I submit multiple direct links to Google that have actually the products on them - e.g. https://boops.co.uk/collections/hot-wheels - rather than just the main page boops.co.uk ?

"The domain that you submitted for your website URL has been determined to be parked. Make sure that your site provides customers with unique and valuable content on the landing page domain, and isn’t parked by displaying only ads and links.

Your website URL and domain should be set up so your product links submitted to Google (that appear for customers) lead to products. When a shopper clicks on your website URL via an ad or listing, the page they land on doesn’t contain any products, which can be confusing for shoppers, and won’t result in sales for you. As a result, your account has been suspended.**"

@Boops_1 Yes, you should submit direct links to pages that contain actual products, like your category pages (e.g., https://boops.co.uk/collections/hot-wheels), rather than just the homepage. Google needs to see pages with products to approve your site. Make sure your homepage also has clear links to product categories to avoid being flagged as a parked domain.

Thanks! It seems I can only upload one web address. Am I in the right place?

In the product feed, you need to add the product landing page URL, for example: https://boops.co.uk/products/hot-wheels-16-honda-civic-type-r

The image you shared, is for domain level verification, do not change this, as this is correct.

How are you submitting the data feed info? Are you manually adding products, using a spreadsheet, using an app? There are many ways.

You can check by going to GMC > cog icon > data sources.

Hi thanks for replying!

I’m adding products in Shopify, data source is ‘content api’. I do have some product details I need to add but I think there’s a singular issue preventing everything from showing regardless-

It’s worth noting my site does not show at all in google site:boops.co.uk (according to google SEO it just won’t index). Have submitted sitemap etc).

Yesterday I added links in gmc for the shipping and return policy so it might have been that and maybe I’m ready for a review now.

Does it matter that my home pages does not have products?

At what point do I need a landing page - when I have sponsored ads?

Thank you

Based on your screenshot, there seems to be multiple issues. I recommend for example linking google ads.

Checl all the settings, ensuring everything is added. Meaning, go through every menu item, step by step and add everything you can.

Than ensure you have submitted at least 1 product in GMC.

If the app does not work, I recommend either you contact: https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/shopify_3p_support_app

Or try a different data feed app such as: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

Thanks will work through it. I noted the product landing page is being edited by google after it arrives from shopify, but it does still land on the correct page. I tidied up a few products adding all the missing information and linked google ads, and submitted for review will let you know if that works

Hi, everything is working now. I suspect the issue was with the missing policies, and as you say just working through it all. I submitted for review et voila - all my products approved :slightly_smiling_face:

Great to hear you are approved again!
