Hello.

Can someone tell me why my store is listed in Merchant Genuis?

And who did this, and why?

Is it bad for my business and the visibility of my website?

Shall I ask for removal data?

  • If the listing is accurate and not affecting your SEO or reputation, you might leave it.
  • If the listing contains wrong details or misleading info, you can contact them for removal or request an update.

If your store isn’t getting traffic, try these fixes:

1. Check Google Indexing

  • Search site:yourstore.com on Google.
  • If pages appear → Indexed.
  • If not → Submit sitemap in Google Search Console (GSC).

2. Improve SEO- Use keyword-rich titles & descriptions.

  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and alt text.
  • Add internal links & improve site speed.

3. Get Traffic via Social Media & Ads- Promote on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest.

  • Run Google & Facebook Ads.

4. Content & Backlinks- Write blogs for SEO.

  • Get backlinks from influencers & forums.

5. Email & Referral Marketing- Use Klaviyo or Shopify Email.

  • Offer referral discounts.

6. Check for Technical Issues- Look for errors in Google Search Console.

  • Ensure no slow scripts or broken links.

Hi.

All that you mentioned it’s being done…

The pages are indexed; I have social media links; a blog; Klaviyo…

I do not have backlinks from influencers & forums and quite frankly, I don’t know how to get this!

Semrush says that the site health is 88%, so the site may have some issues, but not that serious, I don’t understand.
