Merchants account suspension due to Misrepresentation

Hi all,

I’ve started my dropshipping business about 2 months ago and recently launched my first shopping campaign on Google. After a couple of days running ads, my Merchants account got suspended due to misrepresentation as well as counterfeit. I’ve added all required policies, contact etc and submitted appeal. The Counterfeit violation was removed, however my i didn’t pass the Misrepresentation review.

I really don’t know what else i could be missing. Please help!

This is my store www.yavoraliving.co.uk

As you are drop shipping, you need to ensure that what you list does not violate any copyrights, even if it’s products produced by a third party, you are responsible for anything you list. So you will need to check which products these are. I would start by contacting the manufacturer of each item.

As you are drop shipping, while this is allowed on Google Shopping, thre are so many selling identical items that Google requries trust signals, such as real reviews. I recommend getting between 50 to 300 reviews.

Google will not accept virtual businesses, you need to have a real physical business location, where you the person are working / sitting at desk to do your daily tasks.

You may have more issues, so make sure to check the policies below:

@Pet_Store not sure if your reply is A-I generated, as there are some errors in your reply. And there are telltale signs of AI content. I’m a strong believer that community members want human replies.

For example, point 4, you can not submit registration details or tax info or business docs to Google. There is no such concept.

However, if you have requested too many reviews, then Google will block your account, and ask for ID verification / Business verification, depending if you are a solo merchant or business merchant.

  1. When requesting a review, there is unfortunately no method to include documents or an explanation.

:smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Google support generally in 99% of the cases will not be able to help when you are suspended for misrepresentation.

If you did not create your reply using A-I, fair enough, but there are some incorrect details you provided.

Sorry about assuming your reply was auto generated, it just was a bit strange.

Can you share how you managed to submit your business details, tax inf, registration details.

And how did you include documents when requesting a review?

I have not seen that in the review button option. Or did you mean you contact Google normally, not via the request for review option?
