Does anyone know of an app that can help with this issue? I’m currently using the Shopify Search & Discovery app, but it limits merging values to only 50. I’ve come across some other apps, but they seem to significantly alter the entire product box, which creates conflicts with my existing theme and other apps.
I’m looking for a simple solution, similar to the Search & Discovery app, that won’t drastically change the template.

There are several apps that make it possible. However, most of the time, they come with a new product grid, which was not acceptable to me, as I already had a lot of specifications for the standard grid.
So, it depends on your requirements. You can try those apps for free most of the time. Just look in the app store for something like ‘merge filters.’
If I remember correctly, another disadvantage eith those apps was that it would not be possible to select more than one filter simultaneously anymore. It’s weird because it’s possible in the standard version…
In the end, I ended up dealing with multiple filters that basically mean the same thing, like Black, Black1, Black3. (Customers can multifilter all three at the same time at least) It sucks, but it works…
If you or anyone else finds a better solution, I would really appreciate it if you could share the knowledge. 
Yeah even i am doing in the same way right now such as Black1 , black2 and black3. Havent found an alternative yet.
