Message pop up when I’m trying to edit code Minimal theme

Hi can anyone tell me what the attached message means when I click on ‘edit code’ Minimal theme.

To make code modifications in a theme with code protection, you’ll need to follow these steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to “Online Store” and then click on “Themes.”
  2. Locate the Minimal theme and click on the “Actions” dropdown menu.
  3. Select “Duplicate” to create a duplicate of the Minimal theme.
  4. In the duplicated theme, click on the “Actions” dropdown menu again and select “Edit code.”

By creating a duplicate of the theme, you can safely edit the code in the duplicated version without affecting the original theme. This way, you can make the desired code changes and customize the theme as needed.
