Meta Business Suite (and in turn Instagram) is pulling the Shopify “Product Category” field and not Collections which means it’s not emulating the way our website is structured. See @shopthisisbeautyuk
We also have a USA store which is working fine (see @shopthisisbeauty) so it must be a setting somewhere but I just can’t find it! Please can someone help?

How do you supply your product data to Facebook?
There must be a difference in data feed configuration between your US and UK stores.
Note that “Product Category” field is not easily available in theme code, so unlikely something to fix there.
It’s supplied via the Instagram and Facebook Sales Channel in Shopify.
Hard to tell without looking at your setup. “Product category” is a default field to get the data from, according to dox
Could be that your original site did not have this field populated and Instagram “guessed” the data?
