We’ve found that there are a number of pages on the Shopify site that are causing a duplicate meta description error, however it’s because they are empty. In the back end the blog has a meta description, however on the front end of the website it is blank.
For instance this URL:
https://www.1800ceiling.com/blogs/awesome-product-videos/2-4-or-5-frosted-linear-air-diverter
has a meta description entered:
However the front of the website won’t display that field
What is the fix for this?
