Metafield (.products) Question

Hello,

yesterday I tried to put my metafields into my packing slip to display the ingredients, nutritions and best by date to my customer as a printing in my package. So my metafields are all .products and as far as i understand the packing slip cant fetch the .products metafields, is this right?

is it possible to „force“ the packing slip to get specific metafields data, maybe with a app or some code in the header?

If it wont work is there some possibility (some app i didnt found?) to print a custom page with a simple layout which just includes all the metafields i choose before and display it for every product the customer bought? I need to display the name / title of the product and my three .products metafields.

I do it with the app easyDPD but I dont know if it makes its own packing slip or take the data from shopify‘s packing slip

Every APP takes data from Shopify only but the problem is they will not accept the change we will recommend or do in-store.

Would you allow me some RnD with a demo account so I can check whether our change will reflect in the APP?

create a dummy user account and share credentials with a coupon so that I don’t have to pay anything.

Hello and thank you for your answer. I hope anyone else is searching for the same solution. I am now about to close my online shop so i do not need it anymore. Maybe for you its a good idea to create a shopify app? With all the EU regulations every online shop EU-Wide needs to label products in their own language with any warnings about additives. Currently we have no automated solution and all needs to be created / printed by hand. If a app could print out order by order label for each product and ordered quantity it could be a game changer for many online shops - if it is promoted the right way :slightly_smiling_face: How it is done currently is to prelabel and open and reseal every product like softdrink trays before selling.
