Metafields for Batch numbers and best before dates

Hi,

Is it possible to add metafields for batch numbers and best before dates that we can add in to each order in the back end? We use variations so don’t know how this would work.

  1. Define metafields for orders: In the metafields app, create metafields for the order object. You can define fields such as “Batch Number” and “Best Before Date” with the appropriate data types (e.g., text, date, etc.).

  2. Add metafields to orders: Once the metafields are defined, you can add values for the batch numbers and best before dates to each order in the back end. You can do this manually by editing the order details or using bulk editing options provided by the metafields app.
