BC uses one field for categories level1/level2/level3 etc
I tried importing with Matrixify I don’t see any field there for category.
if they import it how will Shop see the category as one category or will it broken down into each level
I emailed them but still waiting for reply
is there a better way to get these catories working we have a large file so can’t do them manually

Seems like this issue was answered in another thread here.
But still wanted to follow up here as you mentioned our app.
Matrixify will migrate collections for your Products but collections themselves in Shopify do not have such a hierarchy that we could import.
The menus will need to be set up manually in your Shopify Admin → Online Store → Navigation section.
