Hello,
We are a 10+ physical location retailer using NCR Counterpoint as our inventory management and POS system. We have a shopify store online but our two systems do not communicate automatically and it has become a hindrance to our growth.
We are debating next steps to improve. Here are the options as we see it.
-
Stick with counterpoint and pay for a probably messy, labor intensive, and expensive integration with our online store.
-
Move to Shopify POS and integrate seamlessly. Our main concern is does Shopify POS have all the big time functionality of a POS system like Counterpoint or Epicor? Everything I see online worries me it is not sophisticated enough for 4000+ SKU retailers.
-
Go in a totally different direct and adopt NetSuite or another ERP.
Anyone with multiple locations who has migrated to Shopify POS from a legacy solution? Curious how that experience was and how it is going.
