Migrating from Magento with 3 domains but only hosting primary domain with Shopify

I have 3 domains with Magento as multiple stores; The primary store is https://www.silkplantscanada.com on Magento and https://silkplantscanada-com-view.myshopify.com/ on Shopify.

I am wanting to have the 2 other domains which is https://www.creativeplantinteriors.com and https://www.greenerybydoctorplant.com to be searchable using their respective urls; however, I would like to know what is the best way for this to be done as I no longer will have them hosted through Magento nor hosted through Shopify. I would like customers to know that when they have reached the respective urls of other the 2 companies that there is a landing page or a redirect or a popup for each company to state that these companies have now merged with the primary account and that they can still purchase products and get service through the primary account. So do I need to host these other 2 sites or can i redirect the domains in order to achieve this objective?

I would appreciate any feedback on this.

To answer your question, if you want to have any page that displays something on the two non-hosted website then you will need to have a hosting server to execute that logic.

On the other hand, creating redirects from your old domains to your new, merged domain can be done without any server hosting, directly from your domain registrar’s option.

It is best practice to redirect old URLs to active websites, this means you can still leverage their authority wherever they were present.

You can perhaps add a small announcement bar at the top explaining to new users why they got here so they understand all the websites have been merged.
