Migrating from Squarespace and my product URLs currently start with "/shop" - need redirect help!

I’m in the process of migrating an existing Squarespace site over to Shopify – long overdue :slightly_smiling_face:

I need 301 redirect advice!

On my current Squarespace site (pixilated.com), my products start with the prefix /shop which appears it could cause issues when I try to set up the 301s in Shopify.

For instance, I will need to redirect /shop/photo-booth-rental to /products/photo-booth-rental but accroding to this Shopify Help article: "You can’t redirect URLs that begin with the following prefixes: /apps, /application, /cart, /carts, /orders, /shop, or /services."

Is there a way around this? Any insight or help is appreciated! Thanks.

That’s quite a problem. Only possible solution I can think of is not connecting your domain directly to Shopify and instead setting your DNS to somewhere you can implement redirects prior to reaching Shopify i.e. Cloudflare.
