I currently have a free Shopify theme which is not serving my purposes. I have chosen a new theme from the theme store but have yet to buy it. When I do buy the new theme will my administration functions upgrade so that I can work on the new theme whilst still using (and keeping “live” ) the old theme. I’m concerned with working on the new theme whilst its live because my understanding of website building is not great and I don’t want my current and prospective customers seeing a “website in progress”. Please no offers from Shopify partners.

You can keep the old one live and work on the new one. Publish when ready.
