millerandjett.com paging is not working. I have images of the theme.js errors and could use help.

Hi. My baby sis owns a click and mortar named millerandjett.com. She shut down their old site and rolled out a new site on March 11 '21.

She has a Shopify bug that is killing orders. An example of the issue is go to “New Arrivals” then page down to the pager bar “1 2 3… 41”

If you click page 2 it just goes back to the top. If you click page 3, the page does change. But the bar doesn’t change which page is in focus. So, you are stuck on page 1 or 3.

She called me up to see if I could try track this down. I’m a programmer the last 22 years but I don’t know anything about her Shopify site or how to get support.

Edit: The error seems to be an issue with InfiniteScroll layout. But that might just be a downstream problem of some other error. Is it easy to change a layout?

Well, infiniteScroll error is because it can’t find elements it wants to work with. And this is because collection page is modified/replaced for Product Filter and Search app. I’d probably comment out this function as it’s not needed anyway.

$ is not defined is a usual case of JQuery not loaded when inline script is run because jQuery is loaded at the bottom of the file like “above the tag” way.

Though I have not experienced the problem you mentioned.

Hi Tim,

I’ll keep your email in case she wants some work done.

She got the fix right away after she tracked down support (boostcommerce). It sounds like it took several attempts.

But fortunately they fixed the bug for her and are fixing the bug for next release.
