Trying to update product descriptions via CSV import (not an additional app)
What are the minimum / mandatory fields required for this?
eg We have updated Tags and Types with a CSV file containing only the following 4 columns:
Handle
Title
Type
Tags
Tried using Handle, Title & Body (HTML), but this fails “There was an error importing your CSV file. After you fix the error, try importing the CSV file again.”

These obviously relate to existing products (ie the handles and titles match a single product)

I think that the file itself is technically correct. I’m only asking for the minimal column requirements to update the body (ie product description). If you know what they are, I’d appreciate you posting them
In case anyone is looking for the same, we succeeded with the following minimum combination for CSV import:
Handle
Title
Body (HTML)
Option1 Name
Option1 Value
Option2 Name
Option2 Value
Option3 Name
Option3 Value
Can you tell me how you converted the body (html) column? I’m having an issue editing the descriptions to html in my suppliers file.
We didn’t need to convert anything. The field accepts standard HTML markup as far as I’m aware.
Excel isn’t a great tool to edit this information in though. May help to turn ‘word wrap’ on in the column to view the content more clearly for small edits.
