So i will be selling pin’s. 4 different colors. but i will need people to order a minimum of 4 pins. There will be 4 different colors, so, so far, i add 4 variants. But now, how to make people pick their color, like 1 blue, 2 pink, 1 yellow and then, add to cart?
What would be the easiest way to do that?
I hope that make sense, i’m confused myself… lol..

Shopify’s default variant selector only lets customers pick one quantity per variant. To allow mixed colors in a single order, you have a few options:
Use a bundle app:
Apps like Bundle Products by Thimatic, Bundler – Product Bundles, or Bold Bundles let you create a “4-pin bundle.”
Customers can then pick how many of each color, and the app ensures the minimum of 4 pins is met before adding to cart.
Use a custom line item selector (without apps):
Create 4 separate products for each color (Blue, Pink, Yellow, etc.)
Then, use a quantity selector on the product page so customers can pick quantities per color.
Add a Shopify script or cart validation to enforce the minimum total of 4 pins.
If using a bundle app, most allow you to set a minimum total quantity.
If using custom coding, you can add a simple JavaScript snippet to check the total quantity in the cart and show a warning if it’s less than 4.
Add the pins to cart using different color combinations and make sure the minimum quantity restriction works.
Confirm that the bundle app or custom code displays clearly to the customer which colors and quantities they picked.
Tip: Bundle apps are usually the easiest for this scenario because you don’t have to code anything, and they automatically handle minimum quantities, inventory tracking, and mixed variants.

You can make this easy with Easify Product Options. Instead of struggling with variants, you can set up color options (blue, pink, yellow, etc.) as selectors, then let customers choose the exact quantity they want for each color. You can also set a rule that the total must be at least 4 pins before checkout. That way, they can mix and match colors (e.g., 1 blue, 2 pink, 1 yellow) in a single add-to-cart, without confusion.
