Missing Checkout Notes for Custom Orders: Urgent Help Needed

I’m reaching out today because I’ve encountered a rather vexing issue related to customer notes disappearing from the checkout process, and I’m hoping to find a solution as soon as possible.

To give you some context, my business, MyBespokeMattress.com, specializes in made-to-measure mattresses, including caravan mattresses. Many of our customers prefer to include custom dimensions in the checkout notes when placing an order.

However, I’ve recently experienced an issue where a customer entered their custom dimensions in the checkout notes for a caravan mattress, but when the order came through on my end, the notes were nowhere to be found. Needless to say, this led to frustration and confusion for the customer.

This isn’t an isolated incident; I’ve noticed other reports of the same problem, which makes me believe this is a systemic issue rather than a one-off mistake. I’ve also triple-checked the Shopify settings related to checkout notes and everything appears to be in order.

I’m really looking for any kind of advice, suggestions, or fixes that could shed light on this matter. Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any known workarounds or settings I should check? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
