Ok so I haven’t been able to find anything like this on the community here after scouring vigilantly for an answer.
My client sells golf hats & accessories.
He wants to sell a set combo bundle that includes a hat and two accessories (gift box & gloves) for a fixed price.
Options needed:
the customer can choose any hat from the catalogue
choose between a light and dark colored gift box
size & color of gloves
Many of the bundles I’ve tried all have mix and match entire catalogues, like mix and match all the hats and all the accessories. But I don’t want them to be able to choose 3 hats or 3 accessories. It needs to have a set bundle that they can choose from within each category. Unfortunately I personally do not know of any real samples I can reference.
Does anyone have any experience with this specific bundling option? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
However my client wants the customer to choose one combo pack from the listing, that consists of the three items.
then somehow the customers can choose what type of hat they want to have the product of.
I know there are bundlers that you can custom build but then I’d have to make a custom bundle for 20+ hats. that’s too much to maintain. I’m trying to see if there’s a way to create one listing that contains the three items, but the customer can select the type of hat they want, and the size of glove they want.
Does the method you mentioned contain this ability? If so, can you clarify what you meant and how to achieve this?

From what I’ve understood so far, I can suggest two different solutions:
the Collection Mix & Match and its Bundle Builder: you can create a bundle and allow customers to buy 1 hat from the Hat collection, 1 pair of gloves from the Gloves collection, and one gift from the Gift collection for a set price. Please take a look at the following example: bundle builder sample
create a combo product: this will give you an independent product page for a combo product that is linked to all the items in the combo. But for example the hat must have been defined in a way that it includes all the the other hats as its variants. Check out the sample: combo sample
