Money being taken after deactivation

a few days before my billing period i tried to figure out how to cancel my subscription and it told me the password i used not even 5 minutes before was wrong so i had to change my password and it still told me it was an invalid email address and password. after a few minutes it just exited the page on its own so i thought i had cancelled the subscription but i just got another bill for shopify and I had already tried to cancel the subscription. Is there any way i can get out of this balance issue and continue deleting my account or am i going to have to spend another $40 before i can delete the account i already attempted to delete.
